Newland Christmas Tree Festival – INFORMATIONAL VENDOR


APPLICATION & AGREEMENT FORM


Festival Dates & Times:

Friday, November 20, 2026                                                                                           Saturday, November 21, 2026    
4:00pm - 8:00pm                                                                                                                              Noon - 8:00pm 


Thank you for your interest in being an Informational Vendor at the 2026 Newland Christmas Tree festival. The event takes place at the town square in downtown Newland, NC and includes live music, great food, arts & crafts, and fun for the whole family.

Eligible Informational Vendors must be approved by The Newland Christmas Tree Festival. Informational Vendors include those organizations or business entities that will come to the festival in order to educate the public regarding their company. You may not sell anything; and you may not give away anything that is being sold by any craft or food vendor.


Booth Fee:
(must provide own extension cord)

10 ft x 10ft - $125.00
20ft x 10ft - $175.00


Vendor Agreement:

I,     (Your Name Here)                                                    , agree to be an Informational Vendor at Newland’s 2026 Christmas Tree Festival in an area assigned to me.

 

Furthermore,

I am responsible for extension cords that are sized for certain electrical loads.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Festival and the town of Newland, NC and the staff and boards of these organizations against any claim or action of any cause.  Security for the area is provided by The Festival, however, neither the Town of Newland nor The Festival are liable for loss, theft, or damage.

I understand that The Festival has the right to refuse booth space for any reason.

I understand it is my responsibility to provide my own tent, trailer, display items, and extension cords needed for my area. All tents and canopies must have one tent stake at each of four corners AND each corner needs at least 30-pound weights as well. All vendors must have a fire extinguisher of any size.

I understand that I must abide by the following set up time constraints:

Set up: Friday November 20, Noon till 4pm when the festival opens AND Saturday November 21, from 8am till 11:30am.

No vehicles are allowed on the square after 11:00 am Friday.  Please remove your vehicle by this time.

Tear down: Saturday, November 21 @ 8:00pm when festival closes, and Sunday November 22. Security will be on-site Friday night and Saturday night. If all vendors pack up all items of value Saturday night, then security may be cancelled for Saturday evening.

I understand that it is my responsibility to return the area in and around my booth to the same or better condition as when I arrived.

Any violation of this agreement will permit the immediate termination of this agreement without the return of any fees paid to date.  The festival reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave the premises if this contract is violated by such vendor.

All booth spaces include one (1) 110 volt 20-amp electrical service.  There is a $50.00 Charge for 50-amp service or 220 volts. AN ADDITIONAL $100.00 CHARGE WILL BE ADDED TO THE ABOVE FEES FOR ANY CHANGE IN ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER November 1, 2026.

The festival shall not be held responsible for any weather delays or cancellations. The festival staff has procured indoor venues for all craft & informational vendors in case of inclement weather conditions.
